The inspiration for the images entitled 'Burj Khalifa' originated from the world's tallest tower in Dubai, the legendary Burj Khalifa. What struck me most was, that despite the sheer scale and enormity of the tower, which stands at 830 meters to the tip, is the extreme attention to detail in every facet of this architectural masterpiece from the external detailing to the internal finishes, surfaces and intricate ceilings.

The images were captured using a Fuji X100F with the help of the handy built-in digital zoom, for some of the shots, which uses the whole of the Fuji X100F sensor. The images were cropped a little more in processing and contrast, brightness and saturation levels adjusted.

The inspiration for the image entitled 'Spaghetti' originated from Dubai's amazing, contemporary road and infrastructure network which seemingly ebbs and weaves around the cityscape and landscaping. Viewed from above, there is an artistic beauty that bellies the rugged industrial engineering, almost as this was in the designers eye at conception.

The image was captured using a Fuji X100F from the adjacent Burj Khalifa tower with the help of the handy built-in digital zoom which uses the whole of the Fuji X100F sensor. The image was cropped a little more in processing and contrast, brightness and saturation levels adjusted.

The inspiration for the images entitled 'Street Art' originated from Perth, Western Australia's amazing, contemporary street art which can be seen in many urban areas accross Perth, on street corners and outdoor parking areas.

The images were captured using an Olympus OM-D EM5 body coupled with the 12-40mm F2.8 Pro lens which is a super sharp and versatile lens, perfect for shooting street art. I love the Art Filters of the Olympus camera, especially the Dramatic Tone filters. The image was cropped a little in processing and contrast, brightness and saturation levels adjusted.
